Hey, I’m new to online shopping, and I’m searching for something pretty specific. Can anyone give me any tips for finding women’s purple vans in a size 8 1/2? They were in stores last year, but someone has to still have 'em around, eh? I searched E-bay and couldn’t find anything, and Amazon, and I googled it the way I thought I’d seen somewhere( a how to shop dealy) , but anyway, onto the help…

Jiminy. I have to go through a dozen pairs in the stores before I can find something comfortable, and they vary by an entire size sometimes, depending on manufacturer and material.

I second Zappo’s. I’ve purchased a few pair there and they’re pretty good. They tell you if they run narrow or whatever. I get my best shoes on line. In fact, Victoria’s Secret is having a clearance sale, so I’m gonna score me some pumps.
