Shop class no no’s Shorts, long hair and giant prosthetic boobs?

More deflection?

That only proves that you were sexually harassed by someone walking around in your school in fetish gear. Your statement was about “every girl”. At best, it’s an anecdote and your experience is not the same as others.

Your side ignores them, so why bring more into this discussion?

What right wing whack job came up with that stupid word “pornofied”?
If you want to use made up words because reality confuses you, look in a mirror and say this out loud: Ignoranus.

Confirmation bias seems strong in this one.

Back when I used to go to homecoming, kids dressed in ordinary clothes, and “celebrated” by hanging out with people they hadn’t seen in a while, who were home from college for Thanksgiving. As far as I can tell, that’s still what’s going on at the homecoming game.
:person_shrugging:t4:

You know, I agree that it’s a very weird, um, sartorial choice. But it’s really not what I think of when I think “fetish gear”. (And I have a lot of friends who are into fetish gear.) It doesn’t look sexual at all to me, it looks cartoonish. Mocked? Yeah. Which is why I wonder what the back story is on this person. Because people don’t usually dress up like a cartoon and mock themselves without some reason for doing it. But sexualized? Pornified? Naw.

And I’m pretty sure your twitter link is fake. I doubt anyone wakes up from top surgery to see their breasts lying on the table, and watches them dropped in the trash. That’s just not how surgery works. Site: I’ve had procedures, and know lots of other people who have had various types of surgery, including breast reduction surgery, breast removal, and breast construction.

I don’t doubt that someone, somewhere convinced a surgeon to remove their breasts and then regretted it. But this person is just a fake, and you are doing a disservice by propagating the fake.

Speaking as somebody else who grew up female just as much as you did (although admittedly without being subjected to Australian levels of systemic misogyny and sexism), you are clearly misinterpreting your cite. Your delusional transphobic bigotry is not the same thing as actually defending the rights of other cisgender women and girls.

And since it appears that accurate details of the actual circumstances of this shop teacher’s situation and behavior are still not available, you don’t get to appeal to your cisgender female status as some kind of mystical “female intuition” that magically bestows on you an authoritative interpretation.

Canadian schools, as the one in question is, don’t have “Homecoming” the way American schools seem to. In fact, Canadian schools don’t have anything resembling American schools’ Homecoming at all. So any “Homecoming hijinx,” including costumes or pranks or “Spirit Week,” would not apply here.

@Guinastasia I highly doubt shop teacher was strapping on giant tits for homecoming.

Spirit week is the week of the homecoming game when everyday has a different theme, favorite sports team, wacky hair day, school spirit day etc. allowing students to participate if they want to. They have an assembly and choose the best costume on the last day and that is what was published on the schools FB page.

Homecoming game, yes it’s a reunion of sorts for alumni.

Canadian universities do, but that’s in October.

I’ve never heard of a Canadian high school having a big homecoming celebration.

It seems unlikely. Heck, i have never experienced anything like the “homecoming week” or “school spirit day” you describe, and I’m dubious it’s practiced at that school.

But it seems unlikely that she would strap on those cartoonish tits at all. So there must be some back story. And we don’t know it.

Maybe she lost a bet. Maybe she is acting out some weird dysphoria thing. Maybe she is a sexual pervert who gets sexual pleasure from wearing giant tits in front of kids. Maybe a kid dying of leukemia begged her to do it as a joke.

We have no idea. But all you care about is pointing at her and sneering. That’s pretty gross.

We’ll if you don’t believe she’s a teacher then don’t go spreading rumors about her being a sexual pervert or suffering from weird dysphoria just because you don’t know any better.

It’s not impossible that this is a legitimate attempt to deal with body dysphoria. It may look ridiculous to us, but a lot of body dysphoria involves a severely distorted self image. Anorexics who think they’re still too fat when they look like Holocaust survivors, for example. This could be a way of handling her dysphoria in public while she works on it with her therapist. Which would go a long to explaining why the district is so tight lipped about what’s going on.

Yes, it could be some weird dysphoria thing. And it might even have been expressly approved by the school. If that’s what’s going on, I hope the kids learn something about accepting and supporting those who have issues we don’t share. And if that’s the context, I really don’t see how her wearing those is going to hurt the kids.

If that’s what’s going on, all the nasty press is, frankly, incredibly horrible. Let’s take this vulnerable person and compare her to PORN! Ew, Gross!!! Yeah, that’s going to help her and her students a lot.

Did you mean to address that to yourself? You are the one who keeps assuming she’s a sexual pervert, to your discredit.

Where did I say that she’s a sexual pervert? Those are your words you said it and insinuated worse.

I said IMO she’s making a mockery of women and fetishizing large breasts. And that her outfit is highly inappropriate for teaching high school.

Now you should know better it’s not nice to call people sexual perverts because they have a fetish am I right?

If you don’t know the actual details of the situation, your speculations about whether the person involved is “making a mockery of women” or “fetishizing large breasts” are worthless and nothing but prurient rumormongering.

You should know that it’s not nice to do that, right?

Okay then, feel free to ignore your sense of sight and let the world spin while you wait for details to confirm what the eyes see.

Right. You claimed she was fetishizing breasts, and something something pornification. I said we don’t know, and listed a bunch of highly disparate possible back stories.

You are the one who is insulting her, and making all sorts of unpleasant assumptions. You should stop doing that.

All my, or your, “sense of sight” tells us is that a person was photographed wearing shorts, long hair and exceptionally massive breasts. Nobody is trying to “ignore” or deny that such a photograph exists.

Neither you nor I nor anybody else in this thread, evidently, has access to confirmed facts about exactly who this person is or why they were presenting that way.

Until we have such facts, all speculation about their circumstances, motives, or effect on the people around them is, as I said, mere prurient rumormongering. Please stop doing that.

If it makes you feel better making up bullshit back stories to explain this teachers motivations, because there’s no more news to uncover that will satisfy your curiosity then fantasize away.
