I don’t know about that. I mean, how many women in the world have breasts that large, artificial or otherwise? You could probably count them on the fingers of one hand, and you’d probably find that they all worked in the adult entertainment sector. We don’t know there’d be zero articles about a cis-woman teacher who had such a ludicrous enhancement because it’s almost certainly never happened. That said, I’d be very surprised if there weren’t articles about it. And I’d also be very surprised if she kept her job.
Obtuse if you’re feeling generous, lying if you want to be accurate.
Bonkers! Is it bonkers? Do I win a prize???
These fuckwits can’t talk about this without giving their position away by talking about strap-on dildos and artificial vaginas.
Anyway the point’s been made. Our transphobes aren’t nearly as clever as they think they are. Everyone knows why they ran into this thread to post fake confusion and why they forwarded the article to their poor relatives.
I must admit I find this quite amusing. Why is it that a pair of cartoonishly gargantuan fake breasts with huge protruding nipples is appropriate attire for a classroom, but a strap-on isn’t? I mean, if it doesn’t interfere with the teacher’s work, what’s the problem? You can’t possibly think that only one of those things is inappropriately sexual for a classroom.
Why are you singling out strap-ons and not simply penises visible through clothing?
I also don’t think an enormous codpiece would be appropriate classroom attire, even if the teacher wore trousers over it.
After the above post in reply to me I think you wrote that wrong.
Shouldn’t it be,
“Come on, don’t play, stupid.”?
Cisnwoman teachers/nurses have been the subject of tabloid news just because their clothes/ uniform were deemed too tight on their curvaceous bodies.
Would a ciswoman shop teacher get the stink eye if she were pursuing triple G’s braless under a T?
Why wouldn’t you think so?
Again I think some are extremely distressed that this shop teacher is not meeting your ideal of how you want a transwoman to represent thus this angst over it. Just admit her preferred garments aren’t doing her any favors and are a distraction as a teacher.
Umm, you do realize that you are continuing to not say that you have a problem with penises visible through clothing?
Is this Shop teacher a good (Shop) teacher? Back in my schooldays Shop teachers were one rung down from Driver’s Ed and Health teachers.
These are enormous fake breasts that the teacher chose to wear to class. The appropriate male analogue (in terms of both size and sheer ridiculousness) would be a great big medieval codpiece. We can discuss regular human penises when this teacher starts wearing regular human sized fake breasts which, I’ll remind you, she can choose to do at any time.
BINGO! The claims about unsafe attire for shop class is just a fig leaf excuse for concern when the real issue that they are trying to provoke outrage about is “OMG oversided prothetic BREASTS where our CHILDREN can see them!!”.
If this woman was working in a furniture plant or machine shop nobody would have cared. But seeing a woman like this in a position of authority will scar children for life and make them turn gay or decide to cut off their penises because they think it’s cool.
Earlier today I spent a very gross (due to wading through some very hateful sites) 30 minutes attempting to verify literally any part of this story. Nothing.
No information from the school or the district on websites or social media, despite supposed statements from the superintendent and the district, as well as communication home. No articles from local papers despite the school purportedly bracing for protests this morning.
No photos other than the ones in the initial articles. Not a single internet mention prior to one week ago using either name. I did find a Facebook page that appears to have been created less than 24 hours ago, featuring a profile picture with a concealed face. I found a LinkedIn page with her original name that I can’t see because I don’t have an account, but which also disappears when I tell the search to exclude anything from the last week.
No corroborating articles - every single one leads back to the initial Reduxx story. Not a single piece of verifiable primary source documentation.
So… bupkis. Just a bunch of very excited bigots, bless their hearts.
I mean, the chairperson of the HDSB - Margo Shuttleworth - told local papers they were preparing for the possibility of disturbance, which seems prudent, but she didn’t deny the story. If it’s not true, wouldn’t she have thought to mention it’s a fabrication rather than saying they were “standing behind the teacher”?
Of course you’re going to see this carried more on right wing news sites - to them it’s more clickbait - but it’s an actual thing, yeah.
I have not heard of any disturbance taking place, though; it’s Oakville, after all, the richest city in Canada. Around those parts they don’t want to do anything that might scratch the Tesla.
Which local papers? I did a search for ‘trafalgar’ on several that I found and didn’t get a single hit about this.
We cannot say You did not do your Duty.
This was posted earlier in the thread.
I was skeptical but assured that’s a paper that does actual journalism.
Note that the videos in that article are from Andy Ngo, a right-wing activist and provocateur closely associated with extremist militant groups in the Portland, OR area.
Yep, that’s one sort-of-local shitty paper with a reputation for failing to fact-check its sources.
eta: I will concede that the Toronto Sun article is, or at least purports to be, original reporting.
