I heard that too Beauty Taint. I thought almost $11 for a cuppa joe? Does it have 24k gold leaf floating in it? They are going crazy with the ez pie, trying to convince everyone that you can afford this! What happens when you are still paying for Christmas gifts in June?
On another note I can not look at a picture of the Dutchess now without noticing the crazy eyes and the unnatural neck thrust.

I’ve got my pearls at the ready for clutching! I suppose our little gang is really a blend of a chat mixed with some often fairly mild “snarky” or “humourous” observations. We can get a little mean sometimes, though! For realz! And maybe here, without ever watchful eyes that like to bang the report button for any slight against their favorite TV strangers (and are “rewarded” for doing so), we’ll eventually feel free to really unleash the beast! :eek:
It may be misleading to the established members here, but I appreciate having “snark” in the thread title, as I assume some cry babies will find their way over here, and it will hopefully indicate to them that they have to deal with it.

Only watching Antonella now because I need to find a cheap bracelet that’s easy on-easy off for my MIL with arthritic hands. She’s 82 and there really isn’t much more she needs or wants. I may well go back and get the Honora stacked pearl set; she loves those things. I just don’t know what I’ll do with the extra (she’s tiny, can’t stack more than maybe 3 at a time).
Ahhh QVC…I wish she read books or something so I wouldn’t be forced to do this. sigh

I got my order of two pairs of bearpaw boots, they are fabulous!! IMO they are cuter than my grey ugg cardigan boots. I’m surprised I really like the black pair, I think you need to get them too.
I just wanted to make it clear that I wasn’t one of the ones told off. Lol I was one of the ones who rarely ever snarked on Lisa even.
So how many hours a day do you watch those shopping channels?

Right?! I’m glad you love them! I already have the black, I ordered the purple too after you talked me into it. 
All told, I got 6 pairs I think, for me and Xmas gifts - for about the price of 1 pair of Uggs that I was eyeballing. Good quality, too, IMO. Yeah baby.
Now my problem is that is practically 80 here this week now that I have them. 
I was tempted to wear them out anyway. Hey, if our fave fashionista LR can wear full head-to-toe leather in the Hamptons in July, it must be OK for me to wear my new fuzzy boots in warm Dec weather here, right?
Sorry, I didn’t mean to imply that you were, lol. That was bad phrasing on my part. What I meant was, Dave’s remarks seemed to be directed at everybody and anybody who had something snarky to say about Lisa. And before her, Shawniepoo-poo.
I think the only one I ever really bashed was Yum-Yum. (But only because I hadn’t gotten around to anybody else yet, lol).
For me, I just leave them running on the teev a lot just for background noise, not really watch, per se. It’s kinda like an endless Soup clip.
Although, I’m relatively new to posting about it. I broke my leg this past summer, and had very limited mobility for a while, so started posting about them while stuck on my couch a lot of the time under Dr.'s orders. Better now, but enjoy the people I’ve found to BS with on the subject.

Speaking of boots, I’m waiting on a pair of Earth Spirit ankle ones from QVC. To my disgust, according to the UPS tracking they were dropped off at my local post office today instead of being delivered to me directly. That means I’ll have to wait two more days to get them, and what’s worse, my irate mailman-- who seems to resent having to carry anything heavier than a postcard–will be sure to fling the box over my gate and into my shrubs! :mad:
This seems to be happening more and more with all the shopping channels. They must get a discount when they don’t have UPS make home deliveries. But we don’t get a discount! Plus, doing things this way makes it easier for stuff to get lost or stolen. That’s what happened to another pair of boots I ordered last month. Somewhere between the UPS and the postal service they disappeared into the hemisphere. UPS says the postal service has them, the postal service says UPS has them…
HSN refunded me, but still… :mad:

I switch to QVC during commercial breaks on other shows, or if they are showing something that catches my interest and there’s nothing else on, I will keep watching for a little while. I like it because it’s one big commercial so there are no commercial breaks!
My pet peeve was mentioned above – silly/inaccurate color names. “This is our turquoise. Really it’s an olive green but we’re calling it turquoise. And our coral…it’s more of a tomato red…”
That’s what I do. Drive by. Check during commercials. There’s always plenty of good material. Even a few seconds of some of the hosts can be way tooooooo loooonnnngggggg!!!

Yes, wrt the no commericals commercial. That’s exactly why I started leaving them running for background noise. Less annoying than the same loud, yammering TV commercials over and over. I’m glad it makes sense to someone else, too.
The colors stupidity is baffling. I’ve heard hosts say they have huge meetings about what colors to call things, and they STILL can’t get it right. WTF? How hard is it? A 10yr old with a 64 count box of Crayolas could do a better job. :smack:
