Short scenes that weren't shot for the director's cut of LOTR

In ROTK I was so hoping to see Faramir go through the ritual of acclaiming Aragorn king. A 30-second scene, if that. But it wasn’t to be. What short scenes did you miss?

It’s got to be short, so Tom Bombadil and The Scouring of the Shire don’t count.

Faramir kissing Eowyn while waiting for the outcome of the final battle. Could have been done in five minutes, so I count it as short.

the comedic bit between Aragorn and that fussy pharmacist type character who insists on telling him ALL about the healing herb etc–very well done in the books and could have translated to film nicely.

Yes! I remember reading that and thinking, wow, a simple humourous scene right between the two biggest battles.

I would have liked to see Legolas agreeing to go see Aglarond with Gimli.

Saruman’s Death.

Missing was the scene that showed his spirit rise from his body like smoke from a fire, looked toward the West, and disappeared with the wind…

SAURON’s death, too - the giant form stretching the hand towards Aragorn’s victorious Army, only to (also) be blown away by the wind

While I wouldn’t want it to be in the movie, a nice part for the deleted/extra scenes would be when that kid is talking to one of the hobbits (forgot which) about how they weren’t allowed in, and thinking that the hobbit was a kid.

Beregond’s son Bergil and Pippin.
