Was watching (recorded) Emily Scott’s run in the semifinal. Now, at the end of the race, maybe two-three laps from the end, she tries a pass on the outside, and there is “contact” and she swings wide, finishes last. After the race, they review, and allow her to continue to the final.
But: in the slow mo replay from a good angle they show that “contact” and the Korean skater (who finished 2nd in that race and advanced to the final as well) blatantly pushed Scott away. It wasn’t accidental. Deliberate push, which makes Scott lose. I understand why Scott was allowed to advance - but why wasn’t the Korean skater punished?
