Dogs are violent because their owners mistreat, abuse, harass them constantly. If you raise a pitbull with TLC, then it will perfectly nice. You can do the same for any wild animal, just raise it around humans from when it was a baby, and it will be used to humans and nice to them. I saw this on the animal channel when they did it with a litter if tigers. The trainers take the tigers around a park and the tigers are perfectly calm around ppl. You just have to get the animal to think your part of it’s family, or it’s part of your family. That’s how animals think.
and oh yeah… i had a volitile reaction because you can’t make jokes like that and get away with it. And you can’t carry on the joke for several replies. It’s like making a serious comment like “my mom died” and then a month later saying it was a joke. It’s not funny, and everyone hates you for being so stupid.
Well, that would be really swell, but I’m afraid just “being nice” to an animal does not domesticate it. Hopefully this link will explain in simple enough terms why wild animals shouldn’t be kept as pets.
Please notice the term “selective breeding.” You can essentially engineer general temperments by selecting mating pairs very carefully. That’s how we’ve ended up with all the different breeds of domestic house pets we all know and love. It is possible to breed an animal to be agrressive, and all the hugs and kisses in the world can’t overcome genetics. Part of the problem with aggressive dogs is that they’re actually bred to be vicious. Instead of choosing the nice pup like our friend Caveman Ugg, some people choose to breed the meanest of the pack, creating a more aggressive animal. Mistreating an animal also goes a LONG way to make it anti-social.
