Too difficult to know without knowing what you look like. Steve Martin sure pulled it off, but maybe you’re not Steve Martin (saw a picture of him before he greyed…much better looking with the grey). Having said that, I also suggest that you go to a pro first. Sure, they don’t give their services away cheap, but you’ll know how good you can look and what to shoot for if you decide to do it yourself at home (take pictures of the pro’s work for comparison). Whatever you do, don’t overdo the color. Even if your hair was naturally jet black, don’t dye it that color just because you can. Natural looking is key, especially for a man.

Thanks for the input. I tend to agree with those who say, leave it be. It never has really bothered me, and there’s a thick whisp of grey on the front of my hair that I kinda like. Plus, I’ve got a full head of it.
I did dye my hair once, when I was 20. Well, actually I bleached it. Really dramatic, I must say, but I’m too “mainstream” now to go so wild (sadly, being a lawyer has really dampened my rebellious side).
I’m still contemplating one wash of “Just For Men”, just so I can see the difference. But a lifetime of obsessing about my hair just doesn’t seem too appealing, so I’ll probably end up sticking with the early onset grey for now.
