Should I get a BMW Mini Cooper S

Over the last 30 years, with a few gaps, I’ve only owned convertibles. In Seattle most of that time, no less. Never had a leak problem. Convertible top technology is pretty good now.

Yeah, that’s basically what I’ve seen with BMWs and what I meant by BMW maintenance habits, only I gauged it in miles instead of years. First 30K of maintenance on the Mini were super easy, because they were covered with the purchase of the car. Next 30K were like a normal car. The 30K after that were more expensive (in that period was where my taillight spontaneously melted). Between 90-110K it was a very expensive car to maintain. I hit 110K in less than five years, though.
