Cream soda rocks…where I live, I’m responsible for restocking a soda machine used by about twenty people…and the cream soda always goes first…Coke is usually last to go. Makes me feel good inside.

Stewart’s is good, but so is IBC. I generally try just about any plain cream soda I find, but it’s so rare outside of a grocery store.

Again, I say, again, if you haven’t tried Natural Brew, made with pure cane sugar and Madagascarian bourbonated vanilla, you simply don’t know what cream soda is!
I really like diet A&W cream soda. It’s dynamite. Maybe you can contact whoever distributes A&W in Quebec to request they start carrying it.
Holy crap, I have not heard of Cheerwine since I moved from North Carolina.
Cream soda is the nectar of the gods, I wish it was more mainstream (I never thought I would say that about anything) just so that I could have it any time I wanted, instead of having to make a trip to the gas station to get my fix.

I just went out and purchased a 6 pack of Cream Soda because of this thread. 
Tuckerfan, I believe you. I’ve book marked your link and intend to order some one of these days. My only apprehension in this is that I may turn into a Cream Soda snob and won’t accept anything less once I’ve had the ‘good stuff’ (Though I do love A&W and IBC). I’m already picky about my coffee & wine (the wine I have to order- thankfully I can get good micro-roasted coffee locally).

Oh, trust me, it’s worth it! It’s so yummylicious that you won’t care about being a cream soda snob. If you’ve got a specialty grocery store or a health food store in your area, you might check and see if they carry it. I found it in the health food section of Kroger’s.
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh cream soda! I grew up on the A&W stuff so it is my favorite … though I do like IBC as well. Hmmm, I think shasta even had one at one time, also good. I agree, it’s all good n yummy!
and for a mini hijack, down in cancun this year I found a flavored tequila that tastes exactly like … you guessed it, Creme Soda! WHOO HOOOO!

I got pulled over once for drinking an IBC while driving. Cop laughed when he realized the bottle I’d been drinking out of had ROOT beer in it, not REAL beer.
It wasn’t a cream soda, though. My mom loves cream soda. Me, I like the taste, but for some reason I expect cream soda to have a different texture even though I know it doesn’t, so taking the first sip is ALWAYS a bit of an ick moment as I wait for it to feel like a milkshake…
BTW, the phrase “Shout Out to Cream Soda” by Gangster Octopus has a surreal charm to it that makes me laugh.

Oh, God, I just had to respond to this thread! I absolutely adore creme/cream soda! A&W does have a diet version, and it’s good. I have tried one of the brands offered at Trader Joe’s (can’t remember the brand… sorry) and it was fantastic. To be honest, however, two of my favorite brands are store brands. When I lived in Iowa, I lived on Hy-Vee brand diet cream soda, and out here in Phoenix, I love Safeway’s brand. OK, OK, so I’m not always into the upper-class brands of cream soda, ut they are very good and very inexpensive! Try them!
