Show me the funny!

Be it cartoon, photo, joke, skit or song, what is the funniest thing you have ever seen or heard? One per customer-no lists please.
Mine would have to be Tim Conway’s elephant story from The Carol Burnett Show.

Nothing to add except I just spent 20 minutes watching Carol Burnett out takes. Still funny 30+ years later. Nothing used to crack me up more than watching Tim Conway destroy Harvey Korman every week. Thx.

It might not actually be the funniest single thing I have ever seen but it’s a real classic that I still find funny every time: Who’s On First.

Don’t know that I could pick THE funniest (but I agree that Conway’s elephant story is up there as one of my faves). The Kids in the Halls “Girl Drink Drunk” is also a favorite (YouTube it), as well as their “Bikini Inspector” & “Shitty Soup” skits. SNL did a spot-on parody of undecided voters this past weekend.

Sorry, Czarcasm…that was kind of a list, wasn’t it? sheepishly slinks away

For me “In the butt Bob” takes it.

The hardest I’ve laughed in recent memory was at an old MST3K short. I think it was Circus on Ice. These two girls are skating around in pink outfits, and the riffer starts singing to the tune of the background music:

These two girls
They make quite a pair
They will come
From your worst nightmare

They will haunt your soul forever
And now, when you see pink
You’re gonna think
We’re doomed!

I still think it is Richard Simmons on Whose Line.

The elephant skit is one of my favorites; I first saw it when someone (you?) linked to it years ago. The one I was gonna post I forget what it was, but it’s also something I learned about from the Dope, so someone’s bound to come along and post it, and then I’ll say, “Yeah, that!”

It’s hard to pick just one. But I’ll go with this clip from “Everybody Loves Raymond”. Everybody Loves Raymond - Whoops!! - YouTube

When I was probably about 11 or so years of age back in the dark ages when the only way to see a movie was to see it in a movie theatre, my father used to rave about Marx Brothers movies. Then one Sunday he spotted in a newspaper that a Marx Brothers movie called “Go West” was playing that afternoon in a theatre somewhere nearby so we all piled into the car to go and see it.

The movie has a scene involving a train. I won’t spoil it for you but it’s very funny. We were all laughing fit to burst, but my younger brother was laughing so hard that he couldn’t breathe, fell off his seat and was rolling on the floor. Not only that but the scene goes on for some time and every time he’d get his laughter under control enough to start to haul himself back up onto his seat he would glance at the screen again, which would cause him to completely lose it again, and fall back on the floor.

I have never laughed so hard, though I have to admit that it is hard to separate the extent to which I was laughing at the scene in the movie and the extent to which I was laughing at my brother.

Go watch QI if you aren’t already. It’s both excellent and hilarious.

I found This one of Romney the other day by accident. It gave me quite the chuckle.

This might be biased because its one of my earliest memories of laughing so hard I was crying, but Red Skelton’s Cy routine.

I’m not looking for a “chuckle” here, though-I’m look for something that you found rolling-on-the-floor funny. What is the funniest thing you’ve ever seen or heard?

I don’t think I’ve seen that one, and I can’t find it online.

Amusingly, they later determined that the Parthenon’s columns do not bow outwards in the middle, leading Stephen to ask, “Why do the columns in the Parthenon look so straight?” and the answer was “because they are” which broke poor Johnny Vegas’ mind.

OK, fine. This one, puts me in tears every time. [ Family Guy. Frog incident.]
