I think you misunderstand. Most trousers that are sold in the men’s department actually have a tiny penis and a pair of polyester testicles. That’s all he means when he calls them “male garments.”
Ah, he’s miffed about the level playing field. Got it.
Actually, just because I am young doesn’t mean I am like that. First of all, I can’t date before college, and even if I could date, I am holding off sex until marriage anyways. So I really wouldn’t date a slut.
Nobody cares who, when or why you do or don’t date. However, it will be very good for you to take at least one gender studies course in college.
Yeah, well that is good. I don’t really want people to care. It is my business.
But how is a gender studies course supposed to be beneficial to me?
Perhaps you shouldn’t voluntarily tell an entire message board the status of your penis then, yeah?
The same way that knowing how to do arithmetic and how to eat without swallowing your own tongue is beneficial to you.
You realize that very few men take gender studies, right? It is usually a bunch of feminists hating on men. Yeah, I think I will pass on that.
Thank goodness we have 15-year-old self-professed virgins until marriage hanging around telling us what feminism and gender studies are about! I mean, otherwise we’d be having an interesting and productive conversation or something.
And what else have you learned from sitcoms, young man? You should start your own “Ask the kid” thread.
I’m not sure why you think you would know anything about a course of study you are obviously completely ignorant of. But you do that a lot, so whatevs.
I did a quick web search. Maybe you could “fight some ignorance” (isn’t that what this site is about?) and tell me about it. ![]()
snerk
And you know this from first hand experience of course.
There were usually several men in my gender studies courses. The only men we “hated on” where the ones stupid enough to think that it would be a good place to find a date. We did do a lot of hating on a patriarchal culture, but that is not the same thing as hating on men.
Remedial tutoring is not my job. ;););)![]()
My point is, why should I take gender studies? What am I going to learn from this course? Just asking. I actually wasn’t expecting to be talking about gender studies courses, but colander got me into it, so yeah…
You’ll learn about the ways that your sex affects the way you see the world. It’s a bit like a fish taking an Ocean Studies course: until the fish takes it, the fish doesn’t realize that there’s land out there.
You’ve made derogatory comments about feminism before. I’m curious, your dad’s name Archie Bunker by any chance?
