Shows you like where you don't care about the characters

I’ll second (or third) Mad Men.

Criminal Minds comes to mind.
Other that the heavy-set blond who usually works from an office, don’t care an iota about the characters. They could all die in a mass serial killing as far as I am concerned.
Still, the show has good plots and nice twists - just don’t like a single character other than the blond.

I’ll agree with Weeds. I did like most of the characters in the first couple seasons. I could sympathize with people making bad decisions out of desperation, confusion, as a coping mechanism, whatever , but at this point everything everybody does is just beyond any forgivable level of stupidity or selfishness.

I agree with Weeds, Law & Order and CSI. And about Briscoe.

I sort of was feelin’ it for Van Buren at the end of the series but I got the feeling that she didn’t really care if I cared if she lived or died

Seinfeld: I think the entire cast is annoying, even the guests and minor characters.

CSI: I hate Sara with a passion, and everybody else ranges from mildly to very annoying. Probably the only character I like on the show is Brass.

That view doesn’t offend me, but I liked Thirty Something, and don’t think the characters were whiny assholes. They were just more ordinary than most of the lead characters in TV dramas.

And another vote for Law & Order. Some of the characters are more appealing/attractive than others, but it’s the details of the cases that provide the interest.
