How odd that he didn’t trust St. Louis’ research on Michael Sam, but simply insisted he’d be “a distraction”. Dungy is despicable.

You might be right. I don’t watch much ESPN, and i don’t know much about Tony Dungy.

But when i’m looking for advice about adjusting the moral compass of football commentary, i do know that dalej42 is about the last person in the world i would ask.

Here’s his take on the Ray Rice issue:

His ‘wife’ wants to get as much $$$ as she can off of his contract. No surprise.

I would call her a gold digger to her face. It’s quite obvious that they agreed to marry to make sure prosecution of Rice would be almost impossible. She has her hands on half his money now. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ray Rice went out and bought her Kobe Bryant style bling.

So Rice has an appeal with the NFL next week as well as a grievance filed against the Ravens. If he wins both , he’ll get most of his pay for this season, except for the 2 games he was suspended for initially.

This seems to be the best solution. The furor over the incident has died down. Ray and his ‘wife’ get paid. Rice can then sign with another NFL team to show if he’s got anything left in the tank. Buffalo might be a good option, no intense media scrutiny.

Rice had previously bought her an engagement ring as well as a new car. Janay was a gold digger from the beginning.
