Tell me, what technology is required to enable electronic transmissions from your universe to this one?
A quite simple technology, depicted here. (And, to be carefully non-partisan on this, here it is as worn by the leading Democratic supporter of the Iraq War.)
Good read on the Iran matter. Would that the mainstream media had the balls to publish articles like this one:
It really is appalling that our raving lunatic may actually be worse than their raving lunatic. Keep in mind that their raving lunatic has such gems as denying the Holocaust, but ours still may be worse. :smack:
Even that stalwart purveyor of pre-war hysteria, the Washington Post, acknowledges that there is a problem this time around: Skepticism Over Iraq Haunts U.S. Iran Policy
Mainstream knows that they can’t deny the color of the sky and expect to retain credibilty.
This time we should just declare victory before the actual invasion. Hang “Mission Accomplished” banners all over, write fawning accounts of the Bush Administration’s amazingly successful liberation of Iran, give Halliburton a big blank check for no reason. Who knows, it may well confuse Bush into totally forgetting about any real military action.
Why, no!! Georgieboy, of course… :dubious:
Shut up, yhou stupid fucking chimp!
That was ironicalistic.
You mean the “yhou”? Huh, I thought that was done deliberately, to convey foaming-at-the-mouth apoplectic throat-rattling irritation.
That was my thought, too. I actually read it out loud in Eddie Murphy’s voice from Raw where he’s mimicking Bill Cosby. “Yhou can not say … fuck!”
If I can decipher your remarkable multidimensional missive, I take it you disagree? You think Ahmadinejad has the upper hand in this little tête-à-tête?
What do you smoke in that leftist universe of yours?
There’s a large gulf between “Ahmadinejad has the upper hand” and “The Pres’s got Iran by the short ‘n’ curlies”.
The truth, I suspect, lies in between these two possibilities, try as you might to exclude the middle into the fifth dimension.
There’s no equivocation in my query, in fact, I think we’ve actually got him by the balls at this point. I was just trying to understand BG’s cryptic quip.
An interesting conclusion, given GWB’s assessment that US troops are daily being eviscerated by Iranian weaponry, and that Iraq is allegedly riddled with Iranian agents.
In what possible way does the US have Ahmadinejad “by the balls”? What will the US be able to persuade Iran to do - stop oppressing women? Abandon nuclear power? Disband the army? Sing Kumbaya?
Of course, that’s a source that publishes crap about how the Jews knew about 9/11, so it’s not much of a source either.
Since I posted my original statement about “shorthairs,” something big has happened in Iraq.
Before we proceed, two things I need to understand from you:
- Yesterday’s bombing. Do you doubt the MEK was connected to it?
- Do you think Iran wants an Iraq-style invasion and/or occupation?
… something big happened in Iran. Something big happens in Iraq every few hours.
My browser timed out when I tried to edit. :smack:
I think it likely, yes.
I think Iran would not desire this, but would remain confident of its ability to defend with a land army, given the US’s overstretch either side of Iran’s landmass.
IOW, it’s still airstrikes on the table. Unless the US is sponsoring terrorism. Which, of course, it wouldn’t.
I still don’t think this constitutes “by the short and curlies”.
Bush lost a truth telling contest to Saddam Hussein! I mean damn!
More to the point, WE do not want an Iraq-style invasion and/or occupation. Nor could we reasonably sustain one. I’m mystified as to why you continue to insist we are capable of doing so. Especially in light of information that billions of dollars (that’s billions with a “B” kids) are being squandered in the current clusterfuck.
Could we bomb them into next year? Certainly. Is it all that good of an idea? Fuck, no.
