How should, and how will the space shuttle disaster hamper current projects such as the International Space Station and any potential plans to go to Mars?
I am a strong supporter of space exploration, understandably there will be risk, and loss. However, the space program, IMO, gives many of us intangable amazement. The sort of amazement and wonder that the astronauts themselves dedicate their lives too. I think it would honor them to not delay more than nescesary to try and diagnose the problem, correct it, and move on.
