Sick. Evil sick. Sick baaaaaaad!

Oi.

Vileness coming from both ends.
48-72 hours in duration.
Contagious.
Dad had it before me.
Mom ain’t got it yet.
Total lethargy, except for violent need to run to potty.
Didn’t start feeling better until I vomited up eeeeverything in my tummy.

Beware, stock up on Pepto (or better), & wash yer freakin hands.

Nothing like a good case of plague right before a major holiday, eh Bosda? Hope you feel better soon my friend.

Be sure to cover your monitor!

It’s been making it’s way through my place of work.

I haven’t had it (yet). Seems to be winding down though, so I’m hopeful that I’ll avoid it. I could get it late though…

I’d hug and smooch you, but… you know. spritz air with sanitizer, offers hand tissues

Stock up on echinacea and vitamin C and stay rested.

On the upside, you’ll make it through the holidays 5 pounds lighter?

Trying to find the good side of a bad situation.

Hope you feel better soon! Leftovers are good for at least 3 days.

Two Exits, No Waiting!!

:stuck_out_tongue:

(feel better soon!)

I am sooo not going to your house for thanksgiving. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yargh, great. You’re still in TN, right? That means I’ll probably be getting it soon…

It’s already made it’s way to Kodiak. I caught it from a friend, who has caught it again. Trips to the E.R. for phenergan injections, which are almost as bad as the virus. Sitting on the john while holding a bucket between one’s knees really bites.

Just a warning, when you are able to eat again, take it slow. Get lots of rest, this flu has people admitted (here) to the hospital due to dehydration.

sigh and it’s only November…

Sorry to hear your news. Sending healing thoughts your way.

It’s stunning.

I’m 100%.

If you get this thing, it hits like lightning, and passes completely with 2-3 days.

Hint–avoid milk.

Really, really, really avoid milk.

Do, places to avoid:

Dogpatch
Crime Town

Not so bad, I wasn’t going to go there anyway.

Just to update (because I know everyone’s been waiting on pins and needles), I got hit with it Thursday afternoon. While the turkey was cooking but before I’d eaten anything.

I ate some of the turkey, but can’t bring myself to eat anymore because it was the last thing I ate before the, er, serious distress hit.

Slept most of the day yesterday. Did some running around today with errands I needed to get done, and now I’m ready to sleep some more.

Luckily, the distress has mostly given way to exhaustion.
My family is probably lucky I stayed in Ohio instead of heading to TN for the holiday.
