It is so utterly ironic that it has taken this incident for me to reconsider my opinions of several posters I made snap judgements of as a newbie.
In a strange, perverse way, Tassie did us all a favour and has managed to unite Fathom and SDMB in a way that well meaning but deliberately intentioned posts never could.
Once again, I’ll say it for the record. I have no quarrel whatsoever with how I have been treated by the mods/admins on either board in respect of this issue.
If I had a problem with it, trust me, I would be the FIRST person to post both in the Pit and at 3F.
