I found a sideways apple tree growing my back woods. Is this a common occurance or should I be calling “Trees Gone Wild” for an exclusive?
Not too awfully unusual, apple-tree wise. I have also seen one in the middle of a field in extremely northern california that has branches which reach all the way to the ground, making a cool kind of enclosure underneath. Dappled sunlight and that good apple smell.
I must say, you are blessed. That looks like such a beautiful place.
Not unusual. I have a couple that look like they fell over but refused to die. They kind of look like what brujaja described.
