Job search not going so well. Anyone heard of open jobs in logistics or supply chain? Have degree, some relevant experience.
Guess not.
They’re in short supply.
Are you considering looking internationally? I know a loggie who says there are lots of opportunities going in Australia. There are also supply chain vacancies with large NGOs and the UN, though the salaries aren’t great, and the interview processes are both turgid and challenging.
Sorry, I don’t exactly understand what kind of you’re looking for. What is “Supply chain/ logistics”? is it extremely specialized work?
There are three open positions at NYC’s Office of Emergency Management described as “logistics”. I’m not sure if they are what you are looking for though.

Do you have your customs broker’s license, or any experience with International? My sister is the Director of Logistics for Fender Guitar in Pheonix. I could ask if she has anything or knows of anything. Where are you located?

Check on USAjobs.gov - they often have logistic jobs. Of course, you’d have to be amenable to relocation…
Thank you for the ideas, everyone!
Logistics and Supply-Chain is an odd business specialty. Not that many schools even really teach it. It’s basically the techniques for managing the movement and storage of goods (or services). They get pretty complicated and the math… well, it’s not Statistics, but it can be pretty rough.
No experience, but I my collateral is in International Business. It’s pushed pretty heavily at UT (Tennessee, not Texas).
smiling bandit - My sister used to also by the head of international transportation here in Nashville for Service Merchandise. Her old boss now works doing something logistical in Chattanooga. Are you on Linked In? She maintains a lot of her connections from previous companies that way.
