I didn’t even think Stonehenge was IN Michigan. Nor a reproduction. No wonder you’re upset!

But they didn’t want to give him an Upper Peninsula – that’s give him two weapons to Florida’s one. It wouldn’t look fair. Besides, Lower Michigan looks like a hand. It’s cute. I’m surprised they didn’t put a “We’re Number 1!” on it.

Yes, you do–I have stopped at one in the UP. That was 3 years ago, but I’ve never heard of TMs going out of business…

It’s U-P (yoo-pee). I’ve never heard it pronounced Yoop, except in the context of “Yooper” which is indeed pronounced yoo-per.
