The “signs” of the apocalypse are all ambiguous enough that every generation (or even, every ten years) since about the year 50 AD (no exaggeration), people have been mining the Bible for “proof” that the End of the World is Nigh. Why in the whirled would this media-hyped Elian nonsense be “loss of innocence”? You want “loss of innocence”, you look at the innuendo (or even the explicit remarks) in any TV show that’s not wholly aimed at the under 8 market, there’s loss of innocence of a generation, forget this one luckless kid.
Actually, Dex is right. There are too many that are too conflicting to lay out in a simple post. Do you want the signs from Luke’s Gospel? Do you want the signs from the book of Revelation? Do you want the asides of Paul that are used to modify verses in other passages of Scripture? Are you looking for the visions of wrath or destruction mentioned in Joel? Daniel? Ezekiel? Isaiah? Zephaniah? How about the books that did not make it into either the Jewish or Christian canon: the Books of Enoch? the Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs? the Assumption of Moses? the books of Baruch? the books of Esdras?
Each of these laid out a description of the future judgment by and reconciliation with God in some fashion.
If you wander over to the LBMB, you will find that a number of people have gone to the trouble of cross-referencing each of these books, using passages in one (or more) to fill gaps in others.
Your simplest method would probably be to pick one book (Revelation from the Christian NT, for example) and make a list of the signs that you think they indicate as they break the seals on each scroll.
(One reason that I hate to list them is that as soon as I pick out one set of “signs” someone with a different theology will jump in to correct me–then they will be beset by a person of different theological persuasions. One of the great battles among the biblical literalists is deciding which events precede or follow other events.)
You want to check out the book of Revelations, somewhere about chapter 6-9. There’s a lot of stuff mentioned there as going to happen, but it’s unclear which are the official “signs”. Some highlights: solar/lunar eclipses, earthquakes (6:12), fiery hail (8:7), a burning mountain plunged into the sea (8:8), a star called Wormwood (lately often equated with Chernoble) (8:11), and a plague of locusts (9:3). If you don’t have a Bible handy at home, you can look it up at The Bible Gateway . By the way, I’m not sure where the passage is that refers to “the loss of an innocent”, but my guess would be that that refers to Jesus Himself.

Just want to point out that back in 1970, Hal Lindsey’s Late, Great Planet Earth had all of us Fightin’ Fundies absolutely convinced that the emergence of the European Common Market and the rise of Israel as a nation meant that the End of the World would be, literally, any day.
I almost didn’t write a certain paper for English class, I was that convinced that Jesus would be Coming Again before the Monday it was due. Fortunately for my grade, common sense won out, I wrote the paper, and needless to say, Jesus didn’t return on that particular weekend of October 1970.
Spankboy, the Bible says quite clearly that “No one knows that day or hour [speaking of the time of Christ’s return], not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”(Matt. 24:36)
So everybody you hear who tries to pinpoint the actual year (or even day) of the Apocalypse is just blowin’ smoke (and also usually fishing for contributions!) So don’t waste your time trying to construct a timetable.

I think the phrase “loss of an innocent” is probably from the Demi Moore movie “Seventh Sign”, or else from some other Hollywood take on the book of Revelations. AFAIK it’s not Biblical.

It’s neon. Says :“Turn Right At Corner Go 2 Blocks For The Apocalypse”.
Just beneath that, : “Drink Coca-Cola”.
The Southern ones say :“See Rock City/ End Of The World-35 Miles Then Exit.”
