Silly drug mania articles, where do these things come from?!

They have stopped being about you know actual drugs even and are now about shit like “digital audio drugs” choking games and snorting candy.

Now lets see if I can find some moron who will tell parents to be very, very worried…ah yes here we go!

<The biggest concern among drug educators, however, is what mimicking smoking or snorting drugs could portend for the future, Williams said.

“It shows that willingness to experiment and try different things,” she said. “Later it may not be Smarties. It may be alcohol. It may be cigarettes. It may be marijuana.”>

If your child shows a willingness to experiment and try different things…er be happy they are normal? This is perhaps the most pathetic attempt at a scare story I have ever seen.

Who writes these? Are parents that easily spooked? Does no one remember being a kid or teenager? :smack:

Just send them over to those nearby threads about krokodil and thence to the pictorial sites linked therein. That should put the fear of Og in them!

Snorting Smarties or Pixy Stix (even accidentally with the latter) is dangerous. It can lead to the disease Saccharosis, or Sugar Lung. I started a Wikipedia article on this disease several years ago, but it was quickly removed. Obviously a conspiracy by Big Sucra to cover up the truth.
