I’m taking a coworkers word on this but, at a local beverage and party supply store they have Flashing Light Ice Cubes on which the package says “Hours of Fun”.
I can’t imagine staring at nothing but these Ice Cubes for several hours at a party and still thinking they are still fun. Oh, man! Forget about the Beautiful Girls, the live band and the free beer…check out these Ice Cubes! And can you imagine the next day? “Wow, Great Party, Those Ice Cubes were da Bomb!”
Right, I think even my easily entertained 5yo daughter would get tired of these things in about 30 minutes or so.
But seriously, how would you market these things if they were your product? I think a simple “These things are pretty neato!” would suffice.
Well, they don’t necessarily mean that all of the hours of fun are had by the same person. Suppose you had, oh, say, 24 people at the party – and each of them had five minutes of fun with the flashing ice cubes – that would be two hours of fun right there.
