Silver bullets

I call BS on the ref’s insistence that you’d miss at 20 feet. I use CB caps with play-doh for bullets to kill big spiders in the basement and I shoot from a 1" NAA derringer. 20 feet is pushing it for the spiders, but you bet your tuckus I could hit a werewolf. Christ, you could’ve thumb-flicked quarters at 20 feet.

Now, silver iodide vapor, there’s a good antilycanthrope munition.

From everything I have ever learned, everyone who says that the weight has little to do with it, and that balancing the bullet is more dependant on the ratio of the length to the caliber.
Tris’ idea about silver buckshot is great, but I think that a heavy round, say .357 .44, or even .50 that is hollowpoint and notched on the jacket (for better fragmentation) would do well even if it was silver. The jacket could still be copper or steel, the bullet it self could be pure silver.
In Vampire: The Masquerade there are lupine creatures that kick Vamp’s asses all over the place. That’s why they stick to cities, for the most part.
Anyway, when a Vamp runs into a werecreature, it becomes necessary to employ less dramatic means of self defense and the above types of ammo are generally accepted as lethal to all werecreatures.

how did it start? well i don’t know i just feel the craving. i see the flesh and it smells fresh and it’s just there for the taking…

“Winners never quit and quitters never win, but those who never win and never quit are idiots.”

Yes it was crap,but
a) he thought it wasn’t
b) at least that way we could still shoot, as opposed to our untested ammo jamming or not being made from silver at all…

Still, he heard it from somewhere, Johnny L.A
read it somewhere and I think some character in Stephen King’s IT also claims that silver bullets tumble. I do wonder where this little factoid originated, although for all I know it’s Stephen King’s fault.

Silver iodide vapour is a very cool idea! How about a silver nitrate based pyrotechnic load?

Trip wired Claymores would be my choice.
Werewolf kills self, you’re at home sipping hot chocolate.

Some people say that cats are sneaky, evil, and cruel. True, and they have many other fine qualities as well.
