Silver Palate mashed potatoes

I don’t like the cream cheese in the mashed potatoes. It makes reheating them much harder since you have to melt the cream cheese. Since I love my mashed potatoes leftovers this recipe really doesn’t work for me.

1.5 cups of heavy cream and half a pound of butter per 10 pounds of potatoes seems to be the ticket with a tube of wasabi.

I have taken to adding lots of hummus to my mashed potatoes. First time I did it I just had some left in a tub and threw it in for the hell of it. I do it all the time now. I often serve it with jalapeño sauerkraut and/or fried shallots on top for a bit of crunch.
