Simple at home meals you never tire of

A bowl of Grape Nuts (Wife calls it “gravel”) with a little bit of granola, or raisins, or dried cranberries. Any time of day when I’m just a little hungry. Been eating that 2-4 times/week for over 40 years.

We keep several things in the fridge all the time: tortillas, grated cheese, 2 or 3 salsas, olives, mushrooms, rice, broccoli or spinach, and beans. I make whatever quesadilla I’m in the mood for.

I can eat the same sandwiches every day. This is toast and avocado or soft cheese and salted redfish. This is delicious!!!
Or shrimp pasta:
Boil 200 g shrimp
sauce 1.5 tablespoons lemon juice + 120 ml (20%) cream + 3 tablespoons olive oil + basil
250 g pasta
Add shrimp and sauce to the pasta, mix. Sprinkle cheese on top, add salt and pepper.
THIS IS DELICIOUS. I can eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
And 3. It’s just a medium-rare steak with a sprig of fresh rosemary and salt. TASTY.

What the heck is salted redfish? I’ve never heard of it and Google doesn’t seem to help me.

I do love sardines though and they are easy to find.

I’ve been to Greece, but I never saw that. It looks good, though.

The dish is Romanian. The cheese is similar to what, I think, people may identify as Greek cheese.

Actually, there are dozens variations of it. Here’s one of them:
