Some minidisc players come with a microphone, what is it used for?
Mine is a portable MD player AND recorder, and it came with a stereo microphone; I’ve used it to record some lectures, etc. Perhaps the MD players you’re referring to also have a record function, even though it might not be apparent at first glance?
