For the record despite the opinions I posted of him, I’m not advocating trying to get rid of Ivan. Indeed I wish he would engage more in his beliefs. It could make an interesting discourse if he were a little more mature.
Indeed. In reading through his pitting of xt (the thread referenced in my OP here), I was actually looking forward to a fascinating debate. But he wouldn’t let even that happen. 
If you take someone to the mat for something, why wouldn’t they be mad at you? Is that not the point? If you wanted them to actually take it as constructive criticism, wouldn’t you actually phrase it as such?
And, yes, I realize the implications of that statement.
eh, not really feeling it for Ivan as troll de jour. Stupid, insane? Not even close - although he does come across as uneducated. Guess things are slow and he’s filling a gap. Even his trolling seems rudimentary by the standards of past legends.
Saying that, when you can get a nine page fail thread going on the basis of a one liner, plus attendant satellite thread - then I guess you know the ropes of trolling.
