The impression Ivan has of the other thread is that he’s outdebating us by so much that a silent majority thinks he’s making fool out of everyone mocking him in that thread. So his view of what’s happening there is essentially answer D. But no one has even come close to answering D, or even the more mild C or B - there’s pretty much universal agreement that it’s A or E(troll). So yeah I’m looking at 100% unfavorable results to him as far as I can see.
Maybe I’m naive but unlike the above mentioned posters up until now I thought **ivan ** was a little slow on the uptake now and again but I’ve never thought of him as a troll.

Until his recent pitting thread, I didn’t think of him as particularly full of shit - certainly no more than a number of other posters who shall remain nameless.

Ok, a running tally of the responses. I counted the double responses (both A and E) under both categories.
By my count, there were 14 responses of A and 14 responses of E.
Nothing under E (other) was positive. The closest thing to a positive was “E. A very intelligent and egotistical troll. An attention whore who knows how to stay in his spotlight by trolling just enough to not cross the line.” - but is someone calling him a troll (rather than, as Ivan claims, intellectually superior to all of us and constantly scoring points with the unnamed neutrals) a compliment?

Clearly Ivan was under the impression that at least some people thought of him as B, C, or D, right? And so far no one has gotten close to that.
So I think Cyanablod’s original assessment is way too generous, unless you count the people calling him a troll as being defenders, and even then the numbers are off a bit.
Can I have a summary from someone a little less biased?
Regardless of your accuracy, it seems you have fallen a little short of the 50 “anti-ivan” supporters I challenged MJCicero to drum up.
E. Most of the time I consider his posts benign whether I agree with them or not. In those threads in which he becomes a shit-geyser I’m usually able to tune him out, which is not always the case with other board members.
So - sometimes he’s okay, and when he’s not okay it doesn’t bother me much. Fulsome praise indeed.
