Simple Skills You Lack

Speaking of the alphabet, just thought of another one. Alphabetizing. Pretty much always have to use the song to remember the precise order of the letters. Umm, how many times have we been around this bush? Now that I think of it, these problems probably are related. Funny thing is that I’m generally regarded by friends as having a spookily-good memory. These two things, though, won’t stick.

Rereading that, brute memory isn’t quite the right description. What I mean is that I can remember where middle-C is and a handful of other notes, but most everything else I have to count up or count down. Each note, one after the other. A little like speaking a foreign language from a phrase book. Kinda slows one down. Oh, and a typo; of course that should be clefs.

As for the Curse of the Cookies, try insulated (two-layer) baking sheets. Just tryin’ to get your hopes up here! Seriously, they might actually be the answer. And, what the heck, if you’re gonna keep trying, you might as well give it a shot. Works for me.
