When Sideshow Bob is revealed to the local police, they consult a book of Amercian criminals. There’s a picture of Peter Griffin with the caption “Plagarism” and an picture of American Dad’s Stan Smith as “Plagarism of plagarism”.
Good one.

We both ran straight from the show to post, didn’t we Mr Blue Sky?
I ran faster probably, but you type faster and beat me! ARGHHHHHHHHHH!!! I WANTED TO BE THE FIRST!
I already posted it in another thread, so I win. But yeah, that and that last joke in the credits were probably the high points.
Yeah this was a pretty good episode. When I saw the previews I though “oh no another repeatitive episode” but it actually was fresh and had some pretty good jokes.
This was a really solid episode from start to finish. I especially liked Sideshow Bob’s sign with all of the laughing people on it that read, “You want Bart murdered when?” And I liked Homer’s impression of the Phantom Of The Opera: “I am the gayest supervillain ever! Beware my scented candles!”
“Kentucky? Here that means ‘whore’!”
Being a Hoosier IN Kentucky, I laughed quite a while on that one.
Family Guy should counter with a picture of Peter that says “Funny,” and a picture of Homer with some variant of “No longer funny,” “Washed-up,” “Long past its prime,” or “Please cancel and put it out of its misery.”
This one definitely made me laugh more than most recent episodes.
They’ve already poked fun at Family Guy before- in a Halloween episode where Homer clones himself, Peter Griffin was seen as one of the Homer clones. (Get it?)
A lot of Homer smart moments here. “Well, what am I going to use the aqueduct for- delivering water to cities?” And Sideshow Bob’s family is an interesting idea. I hope they return in a future episode.
I liked the tolerance video in the beginning. I wish they’d done more with that. “Your geatest armor is your self-esteem.”
A couple of good facial expressions: the kids at the party that the Springfield cops shoot up and the goat when Bart is dancing with the old lady.
“Pause here to teach about tolerance.”
I wanna know how Sideshow Bob managed to have a kid if he didn’t take his prison uniform off.
According to this book I read once, some chick got knocked up without having sex. Named the kid Jesse, or something…
Funny epsiode, but what was up with that goat.
Jim
I took that to me that the goat was jealous of Bart dancing with the old woman, because she would use the goat for sexual pleasure on a regular basis (no, not felching)- oh wait, no, maybe she just milked him, and he felt a sexual bond with her because of it. I didn’t see the first half of the episode.
Did you really just say She just milked HIM?
Well considering there is only one way to “milk” a Billy Goat, no wonder he was feeling jealous.
Well, I, for one, thought it SUCKED. But I’ve been watching the season 6 DVDs lately, so my perspective has been skewed by recent exposure to actual good episodes.
Stewie did run over Homer with his big-wheel while riding into the garage, and Peter says, “who’s that?”
I always thought that might be a bit of an FU.
