Sims 2 is damn addictive...

I suppose it depends on how long the kid’ll be unsupervised. The nanny has a daily fee (I think it’s $50 a day plus $10 an hour). Even if all 9 hours of work are when the kid is home unsupervised, at 450 a person per day it’s probably worth it to keep the job. Just tell the nanny to work with your schedule when you hire her.

PS. PostScript.

PPS PostPostScript :stuck_out_tongue:

My copy’s somewhere over the Pacific right now, and I’m getting damn antsy waiting for it to arrive!

C’mon guys, hurry it up!

I’m pretty sure I was able to get an Elder a sick day. In fact, I know I did because I just checked. Perhaps you called at the wrong time?

Maybe I did. I think I did it right when the carpool was showing up, because the adoption agency was supposed to be there that morning and I’d forgotten that one of them had to work.

Yeah, I’d say yours called too early. Mine was able to right after the carpool left.

Think it’ll fly?

If you simply don’t go to work, work will call you and notify you that your Sim has used a vacation day (assuming s/he has one).

Considering I just had to minimize this while I was reading your post because he just walked into the room, probably not.
We’re without power at our houses so he’s hanging around work today, pretending to be busy.
So if I suddenly start talking about accounting, everybody act cool, k? :stuck_out_tongue:

I played Don Lothario before playing the Goths and decided that he was not marrying cassandra. I think that I will have alexander invite Dustin Broke to move in as soon as he in an adult. I will then marry angela to Dustin and she will meet with a tragic accidental death. I should be able to find him a decent bride after that.

So, anyone know how many simoleons it takes to be a rich Sim?

I dunno but my one family had 400k. I moved them in as Roommates, then had them fall in love and get married. It didn’t fulfill my fortune Sim’s aspiration though, and I’m not sure if it’s because she wasn’t rich enough, or because she was a roommate. I have a feeling it’s the latter.

Been doing some back reading and found this one too. :stuck_out_tongue:

**Lobsang ** & dwalin: I didn’t like the book too much, but I LOVE Terry. I like his Vimes & Rincewind books best.

Oh, and I love the earlier books of the Death series, the Grim Reaper, Mort. Susan drives me batty, though. She’s arrogant.

And Lobsang: If I don’t read a book at least twice, it’s a waste of money to me. (I won’t mention Heinlein’s name or anything). Everyone of my books has been re-read. My copy of *Watership Down * is worn to the bone and looks sad but well-loved.

And for the Sims: I wasn’t paying too close attention and that maid moved in with Don Lothario! So now I either have to give up on the other quest, or kick her butt out.
