Sing "Frosty the Snowman" to yourself. What's the last line?

Not the version I’m familiar with. The thumping comes at the very end.

“Had a very shiny nose.”

It’s not Sunday? No wonder he didn’t show up.

Inspired by the evil snowman movie Jack Frost (not to be confused with the comedy by the same name):

Frosty the Snowman
Filled our hearts with fear
But his greatest threat he saved for last:
“I’ll be back again next year! HO! HO!”

And two eyes made out of souls

Another really close poll.

As a kid I thought it was “back again Sunday” which seemed oddly specific and almost sort of religious.

Over the hills of snow.

Enough of the Disney version - here is the best version, if you aren’t going to use the one from the show.

Its all kazoo in my head after the “Frosty the Snowman” intro - that thing has actual words?

Sigmagirl is right.

I put down Christmas Day out of instinct but now that I think of it, the other choice was the right one.

I remember one year, CBS censored the last line on the cartoon version. The only reason I can think of is, they didn’t want kids to think the show would air again on 12/25.

or it was part of the Liberal Media’s scheme to destroy Christmas

This is what I remember

Heinrich the Schleimann
Was a jolly German soul
With a Meerschaum pipe and a button nose
And two eyes as dark as coal…

This is the correct answer. This isn’t an obscure folk song with multiple equally legitimate versions, it’s a song still under license, written within our lifetimes.

My thought before I read the choices. Of the two options presented, however, definitely “again someday”. I first remember singing the tune in school circa 1965.

See now my friend - THAT’S the spirit!
