Sing "Frosty the Snowman" to yourself. What's the last line?

I’ve always thought it was “On Christmas day”, but listening to Christmas songs on the radio i’ve noticed most singers sing it as “again someday”.

Which is it when you sing it to yourself?

Over the hills of snow.

Again someday.

I’ve always heard and sung it as “Some Day.”

It’s not technically a Christmas song, just a seasonal song.

Frosty only says on Christmas Day at the end of the cartoon but the song is just again someday

Again Someday because spring comes and Frosty melts - but he’ll be back when winter returns

This was my thought, too.

‘Two eyes made out of coal’, since the rest of the song is just ‘doo doo doo’. >_>

The wheels fall of the bus for me after “a very merry soul.”

I get to “two eyes made out of coal” and then there’s a bunch of syllables until I hear there must have been some magic in the old silk hat they found that made him dance around when they placed it on his head. He dances around muttering until he comes “back again some daaaaaay!”

Back again someday.

And this is the version I hear in my head:
- YouTube

“Some christmas day”

Yes, I’ve heard it like that.

Because I sing variants of “Frosty” around the house that are different from the original, neither rings a bell. My last lines are more like:

Frosty the Snowman,
Well he really had to go;
So he found a tree
And he had a pee,
But then all he made was snow.

So yeah, those don’t ring a bell, but my family might like them better.

“He’ll got down in history!”

Frosty the Snowman with PUPPIES!

“Joker got away.”

Yeah, in my head the last bit is:

Thumpity thump thump
Thumpity thump
Look at Frosty go
Thumpity thump thump
Thumpity thump
Over the hills of snow

Likewise. Though for the verse the OP quotes, “again someday.”

After the “Thumpity Thump Thump” verse, it’s:

So he waved goodbye,
Saying "Don’t you cry!
“I’ll be back again someday!”

Does he pronounce the tilde?
