What do you do to escape the blues?

Take some reds.

Friends and hobbies.

Hard core exercise.

Sing the blues.

Doesn’t even need to be blues but if you know how to make music, make some.

an hour of good loud music usually chases away even the worst day for me.

Distract myself, and maybe listen to some comedy. All my moods are temporary, even the ones that seem like they will never end. Trying to directly fight them just makes them worse. Ignoring them for a while means I’ll default back to a better mood, which can then be exploited by the comedy.

Try not to “wake up one morning.” As soon as you do that, it’s all over.

Loud, classic rock. Killer guitar riffs with complex tonalities. Does it every time.
