It only ran for 1 season, but Complete Savages was about a single dad raising 5 sons. The mom had run away 10 years prior.

One of the producers of this show joked that it’s Disney tradition to have one or both of the parents be dead. (There was one episode in which Hannah’s late mother, played by Brooke Shields, appeared in a dream sequence. No, I don’t have any children.)
