Sir T-Cups, come on down

Well sure, but you have to admit it’s more fun to argue that cars shouldn’t run over pedestrians. Easier, too!

Right.

But when you said this…

…you were responding to Lute Skywatcher. And in his story, he was a pedestrian, not a cyclist. Drivers should make sure that they know where pedestrians are, and should look to the right one last time before pulling out.

Douchebag Bicyclist…

Ok, it’s the 4th, crowded, fireworks over, time to leave…

People in cars on the street, walkers on the sidewalk, bikers in the bike lane…

Then there’s the douchbag bicyclist…

You know…

The ones that cant be bothered with the bike lane, and just head into the street and use up a lane of traffic, because the bike lane is moving tooooo sloooow for them.

I was ok with it for the first 1/4 mile. But, after that the sidewalk is clear of people who went to their cars, and now the bike lane is pretty clear to go into…so…

GET OFF THE FUCKING STREET!!!

I dealt with these jerks for 2 miles before they dispersed into other directions, and only after the street had turned into 2 lanes.

On a side note, the street used to be 2 lanes 2 ways and a turn lane in the middle, which we could have went around the Cyclist’s, but some dumbass city planner made it all one lane both ways, a bike lane both ways, and parking on both sides, then put barriers w/palm trees in the middle and left no open space to go around anyone.

Anyway, I only hate bicyclist a few times a year.

Drivers should look right, period, before pulling out; no telling what could be approaching. Which is pretty much what I yelled at the guy.
