III. Seinfeld VS. II. MAS*H

A toughie for me, too. I love them both, and they both have their faults. Seinfeld went on for one season too long, and had that horrible finale.
I’m also one of those people who thought the MASH finale was substandard. And even though I’m a bleeding heart liberal through and through, a couple of MASH episodes were just too preachy and obvious for me.
So, because it was a pure comedy through and through (“No hugging, no learning”):

I think the other is a better show, overall, but if I’m honest about which one I’d watch given the two options, this is the one I’d more likely choose.

About 24 hours to go in the championship round…(I noticed it fell off the front, and wanted to give it one courtesy bump for those who may have missed it).
And there’s the horn…about sixteen hours ago. Anyway, I’ve tallied the scores, and despite making a strong second-half effort, the title of 2008 Least Objectionable Sitcom EVAR goes to:
MAS*H!

WOW. I am very impressed and, erm, happy. Totally didn’t expect MASH * to pull it off. I guess Seinfeld engenders more of a love/hate relationship.

Whoop…almost missed the results. Not my all-time favorite, but certainly one I enjoy quite a bit. “Least Objectionable” fits it perfectly.
