OK granted, this is not a connection through movies, but:
A friend from grade school is Kyra Sedgewick’s cousin. Kyra Sedgewick is married to Kevin Bacon. Friend is currently nanny to the Sedgewick/Bacon children. I haven’t spoken to friend in more than a decade but we have a mutual friend who is still close to both of us. So that makes me a (3) or a (4) depending on how you count.
