Six Degrees of Wikipedia

I’m not sure if this will be any fun,but give it a go and see.

Link Queen Guitarist Brian May to former Major League Baseball player Dave Concepcion using links provided from Brian’s Wikipedia page. All links must be Wikipedia pages and not external links.Once you’ve done that, post your result and pick a new person to link to from Dave Concepcion.
Not counting the start page, I linked to three other pages and then finally to Dave’s page on the fourth.

My friends and I call this “Wiki-golf”, and the course is a “dogleg” if you have to go from, say, banana to baseball to orange, for example. The coolest one we did was from Jesus to safety engineering (because that’s what we do), and I did it via forceps (the kind used for deliveries)
Jesus
King David
Michelangelo
Mona Lisa
Chignon
Ventouse
Episiotomy
Morbidity
Accident
Root cause analysis
Safety engineering

Sorry if this was a hijack.

Oh, and also, it’s more fun for a few people to work on the same puzzle, and then compare results, and see who had the most interesting, and who had the fewest subject links.

Brian May
Cigarette
Uruguay
South America
Venezuela
List of Venezuelans
Dave Concepcion

Scratch List of Venezuelans, Dave can be linked right from the Venezuela page. So 4 in between pages for me.

Heres my list

Brian May
Guns ‘N’ Roses
Olympic Stadium
Montreal Expos
Dave Concepcion

I win.

Brian May
1974
Dave Concepcion

My other idea was:

Brian May
England
United Kingdom
United States
Dave Concepcion

I think those sort of things make a lot of these too easy. Maybe some restrictions are in order?

Oh shit, I didn’t realize that since links are not two-way I don’t think those count. Sorry.

Here’s my legit one:

Brian May
Arena Rock
Shea Stadium
Major League Baseball
Cincinatti Reds
Dave Concepcion

Ooh, I do win so far if we allow dates:

Brian May
1947
1948
Dave Concepcion

If I win my nomination is ABC news anchor Hari Sreenivasan. (or if I don’t win; MadTheSwine doesn’t seem to have named anybody.)

Brian May
Queen (the link that leads to Elizabeth II; there is one!)
1948
Births
C
Dave Concepcion
But mine seems to be cheating somehow.

I was halfway down another route when I remembered that Dave Justice played for Atlanta – not Dave Concepcion. Stoo-PAY-Do.

One of our rules is that you can’t use the back button.

Dates are only on par 3 courses. Par doesn’t mean 3 links, just an easy “hole”.

Ok,so now we are looking to link Dave Concepcion to Hari Sreenivasan.Or should we keep Brian as the starting point?
