I have about 8-10 CDs that have some light scratches on them. Computer game CDs, and the scratches are light enough that the computer reads that the CD is in there, but are also deep enough that it will prevent me from installing a few of my games… Would buying one of these skip doctors be a good way to save myself some money, as opposed to buying the games new again?
Yes, unless the CD/DVD is deeply scratched, these devices do a pretty reasonable job. We’ve had several unreadable CD’s which we have repaired and they work fine.
When the initial bottle of fluid runs out, don’t run to the store and buy their replacement. If you look at the label, it’s nothing more than filtered water.
