Here is my problem. I have searched the FAQ on the Skype help site in vain. I call a number on their phone “dial”. The dial disappears. The number answers and asks to hit some additional number(s). Numbers entered from the keyboard are not recognized. Is there any way to deal with this?
Which version of Skype are you running? After I’ve dialled a number from the Call Phones window, there’s a row of icons under the picture of me. Hover your mouse over each to find out what they are. One of them (in the middle, with nine dots) is “show dial pad.” Then use this to dial more numbers, like for extensions or menus.
