I’ve been repeating this chestnut for years. So long in fact that I can’t remember where I first heard it:
A fan of Slayer (Ohio, Buffalo, that general area, from what I remember) once wrote in to them, inviting them to stay at his house whenever they were in the general area. One day, his parents answered a knock at the door and found…Slayer.
What I’m curious to know is if this is actually true. What happened afterwards? Did they get uninvited? Or do they have pictures of Tommy Arraya and Kerry King sitting around the Jones’ family table enjoying Mom’s famous Rotary Club Dorito and Spray Cheese Casserole?
