There a new series of commercials promoting New York starting tomorrow. Channel 9 (UPN) News had a sneak preview of them. They are very funny:

One was a lady in a restaurant looking as if she was ordering a Ben Stiller sandwich with bacon, and it turns out she got the real Ben Stiller with a slab of Kevin Bacon.
Another was of a vigorous skater in Wollman Rink at Rockefeller Center–who turned out to be Woody Allen, saying it was his first time.
Another features Barbara Walters auditioning for a theatre role, singing 42nd Street. She and William Shatner will make a great duet.
Another features Yogi Berra conducting an orchestra, with a vigor that make James Levine proud. Yes, he says, “Who is this Phil Harmonic guy?”
Another one features Billy Crystal dressed as a turkey on a float in the Thanksgiving parade.
And last, but not least, shows a guy in Yankee Stadium doing a Rick Dempsey-like act, pantoming swinging the ball and going around the bases, complete with sliding home. In a business suit. It was Henry Kissinger. He dusted himself off, and gets chased by the grounds crew.
All in all, it is a funny respite from what happened on September 11 and afterwards when you see them.
