Slow Cookers

  1. How slow are “slow cookers” supposed to be? Mine still boils (bubbles) at the “Keep Warm” setting, is that normal?

  2. If not, perhaps I should get a better one. Any recommendations?

Are you talking about crock pots? I have heard newer crock pots cook at higher temps than older ones. Maybe look for one at a garage sale.
