I rarely read MPSIMS or IMHO any more, so I completely missed this smiley vote stuff until Sue Dunhym talked about it in the Pit.

I’d just like to say that this new smiley is particularly odious. Almost as bad as the putz smiley. And if Ferrous would like to proudly claim the first use of it, then maybe he/she would also like to claim the loudest fart in church.

The thumb is not on the wrong side. If you hold your right hand to your forehead, palm in, the thumb will be on the outside, i.e., the right side.
