Does using a large realty firm versus a small one make any difference in selling a house?

An acquaintance of mine runs a 3 employee residential construction and realty firm and he would like me to list my house with him. I would guess in this multi-listing day and age that using this small firm wouldn’t make any difference, but I don’t know this for a fact, so I thought I’d ask for the straight dope.

i used to work for both, and i didn’t see any real advantage in using the larger firm. as a matter of fact, i think that the small ones were a bit sharper on the legal end, i.e., they were more careful about the legal technicalities. i would also like to point out the old adage about doing business with friends and relatives! good luck in selling your house!
