I’ve seen this thread before, but I didn’t give it too much attention. Dealing with this asshole in the other thread makes me realize that the title of this thread is an understatement.

I mean, when someone says that they’re willing to go all the way, their criticism of someone who’s only willing to stop at first base has a bit of obvious bias.
A cop who would order someone to fellate him is not the kind of person who is likely to be dissuaded by telling them “I do not consent to this, am I free to go?” That person is a criminal, and one who is likely to do worse things to you if you don’t follow along.
Such is not the case with a cop who asks you for ID, which is a fully lawful exercise of his power and is in no way whatsoever criminal or abusive.
