Also a weird read. The reality is that Democrats struggle to keep their eyes on the ball, but sometimes they do so after, in the Churchillian vernacular, “exhausting all other alternatives”. I and people like me are trying our best to keep them from going astray and getting distracted by shiny objects (banning fracking, giving free healthcare to undocumented immigrants or voting rights to prisoners, etc.).
